Who is behind The Messy Print ?
HI! I am Brittani Darnell the snail mail enthusiast behind all of this. I started The Messy Print from a simple belief: real mail still matters. Thanks Dad. He instilled this in me and still writes to me from everywhere he visits. I love nothing more then getting something tangible in the mail from him, and so do my kids. I want to bring back that joy of opening your mailbox & discovering something personal, imperfect, colorful, & meaningful - & treat it like a subscription for the soul.
Every piece of mail is thoughtfully made by me (with love, stationary, ink, tactile, tangible, & surprise touches). I handle every step: designing, printing (with my favorite boy, my son), assembling, sewing, stamping, & sending. The Messy Print is as much about connection (with my hand thought out letter every month), and creativity as it is about something pretty arriving in your maibox.
